Program overview
In your first year you will undertake a range of coursework units to gain knowledge and skills in the foundation and applications of GIScience.
In your second year you will learn to effectively conduct and manage research before completing your own significant research project. Upon graduation, you are eligible for membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Surveying and Spatial Science Institute (SSSI).

Requirements
You must have a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
This qualification would normally be in applied science, cartography, engineering, geographic information science or surveying, or in a relevant field such as agricultural or biological science, environmental science, geography or planning. Applicants should also have a background in mathematics and statistics equivalent to first-year university level. International students may need to substitute a communication unit for one of the specialist optional units, subject to an English communication diagnostic test.
IELTS 6.5 with no band lower than 6.0
