No Application Fee, Rolling Admissions

It's true. It's free to apply to Michigan Tech. Although there are no application deadlines, we encourage you to apply by April 1 for fall semester (August start) and September 1 for spring semester (January start).

Michigan Tech made the scholarship application process as easy as possible—at Michigan Tech, all admitted students are automatically considered for most merit-based scholarships. The university can see how crazy smart you are based on your application for admission, so that’s all we need most of the time.

Houghton

There's always something to do at Michigan Tech. Because Houghton is far away from just about everywhere, Michigan Tech is not a "suitcase school"—students are around on the weekends and there are tons of opportunities to enjoy your college experience. When you're not busy being smart and hitting the books, you'll go crazy with all the ways you can get involved on campus.
