At NIU, you’ll study with award-winning and nationally recognized professors who care about your success and who bring real-world expertise into the classroom to enhance your educational experience. And junior and senior accountancy class sizes are small (on average, 25-40 students), so your professors will get to know you by name and give you the attention you need. You’ll also have the opportunity to customize your education through senior-level elective courses in specialized topics like the following: - Forensic accounting. - Internal auditing. - IT auditing. - SEC reporting and corporate governance. - Governmental and not-for-profit accounting.

- High School Diploma: You must have graduated by the time you start at NIU in order to be admitted. - Grades: You must have passing grades equivalent to a U.S. C+ average on all transcripts and/or exam scores - TOEFL: 71 on an Internet-based test- use - IELTS: Minimum required overall band score of 6.0 If you're affected by testing center closures due to the COVID-19 outbreak, you can submit a Duolingo English test instead of an in-person TOEFL, IELTS or PTE English proficiency exam.
