Program overview

The aim of the degree is to create skilled actors with an ability to work across all performance mediums, balancing acting for TV, film and digital media alongside theatre work. Practical acting workshops form the basis of your course, with further classes developing your critical and evaluative skills. University teaches current acting practice of embodied and psycho-physical acting techniques, drawing upon the specialist work of practitioners such as Demidov, Chekhov and Merlin amongst others. The team of lecturers is made up of experienced actors, directors and practitioners.

Applicants with minimum one year of a Bachelor at a recognised institution, with an average score of at least 3.5 out of 5 may be considered for entryInternational Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with 28 points overall OR Successful completion of a relevant International Foundation Year from a recognised UK Institution IELTS score of 6.0, with 5.5 in reading, writing, speaking and listening. All applicants are individually assessed via an audition workshop.
