Put simply, business and industry today relies solely on large sources of data, and the ability to interpret these effectively and efficiently to make decisions. A lot of this data will not be fully structured but still contains valuable information that needs discovering, such as emerging opinions in social networks, consumer purchase behaviour, trends from search engines, and patterns that emerge from such huge data sources. This course puts you at the forefront of new generation technologies. It equips you with the knowledge to contribute to this rapidly emerging area. It will give you hands on experience with various types of large-scale data and information handling.
