Overview
The university offers the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Religious Education, and Bachelor of Education. Majors in business administration, English, history, philosophy, psychology, and religious studies receive a foundation of general knowledge before moving on to their areas of specialization. Tyndale offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in human services conjointly with Seneca College, which allows a student to earn a BA degree from Tyndale plus a diploma in either early childhood education or social service work from Seneca. Graduates of the sixteen-month Bachelor of Education (BEd) program are eligible for a Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers.
Entry requirements
Graduation from an academic or college-prep program
Four years of English (not ESL) to the senior level
Three years of Mathematics to the junior level
A minimum of four senior-level academic subjects
Either (a) SAT I with a composite score of 950 (out of 1600) or 1420 (out of 2400) or higher, or (b) ACT with a score of 20 or higher, plus Writing with a score of 10 or higher; in countries where the SAT and ACT are unavailable, exemptions may be granted
