Program overview

If you wish to pursue a professional accounting qualification upon graduation you will receive partial exemption from the professional accounting bodies examinations. In each year of the course, you will study a combination of accounting and finance modules, as well as modules supplemented by other disciplines (such economics, business law and mathematics). This programme is aligned with ACCA, CIMA and the ICAEW, and in doing so, a requirement for a minimum 40% pass mark (for ACCA and CIMA), and a 50% pass mark (for ICAEW) for each module is required for a student to qualify for the professional exemptions granted to the programme from ACCA and CIMA on the one hand, and ICAEW on the other. Candidates who fail to achieve the relevant required pass mark (ICAEW 50%, ACCA & CIMA 40%) will not receive exemptions for those module(s). Students claim their exemptions upon personal application to the relevant professional body of their interest.
