Program overview
The School of Advanced Technology at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada offers a broad range of programs that opens up many career possibilities. Our programs take virtual world ideas and align them with the needs of the real world. The School of Advanced Technology is made up of the Applied Science and Environmental Technology, the Information and Communication Technology and the Mechanical and Transportation Technology departments which house clusters of like programs.
With 23 laboratories, including precision machining, automotive, electronics, optical fiber, high-powered laser labs, mechanical modeling and element analysis, industrial controls, aviation maintenance and robotics labs, our students can take an idea from conception through to a marketable prototype.
Advanced Technology programs are created with the needs of industry and the Ottawa region in mind. With Ottawa being a technology leader, the level of skills you learn here will be transferable throughout the world.
