Overview

The university enrolls around 16,000 undergraduates and about 7,600 graduate/law students, making DePaul the 13th largest private university by enrollment in the United States, and the largest private university in Illinois. According to the Division of Student Affairs website, about 90% of DePaul's students commute or live off campus. DePaul is also the nation’s largest Catholic university — and we’re committed to an educational experience that weaves together mind, place, people and heart. DePaul University has ten colleges and schools. It operates on a quarter system. The exception is the College of Law which is on a semester system.

Entry requirements

High school completion is required. Minimum requirements:

  • GPA 2.5
  • IELTS 6.5/TOEFL 80 ibt
