For more than 30 years we have worked closely with organisations of all sizes, in the public, private and voluntary sectors, around the world to develop our courses, students and our services for business. We have developed excellent connections with the corporate community and take a role in networking forums such as Scottish Enterprise, Quality Scotland and the Chamber of Commerce. We also act as official advisers to the Scottish Government and the Greater London Authority – Commission for a sustainable London 2012. We encourage and support our students and alumni who are interested in developing their business ideas by providing free support, including office space, access to PCs, advice and mentoring. More than 1,200 students each year take modules in entrepreneurship and our highly successful Moffat Centre provides ‘start-up’ business units that have helped launch 110 viable companies.
