Please note you must apply to your university of choice as well as Great Plains College. Contact a Great Plains College student adviser. They will work with you to apply to the University of Regina or University of Saskatchewan and select the appropriate course load. - Submit all official secondary and post-secondary transcripts from your home country and from within Canada. A scanned copy of the documents is acceptable for admission purposes. - Provide proof that you meet the International English Language Proficiency Requirements of Great Plains College. IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 81 - International Students in Canada must apply for a Canadian study permit from the Canadian embassy in order to study at a post-secondary institution in Canada.
You will gain the skills necessary to counsel individuals and groups, develop and administer programs, empower community groups, conduct social research, analyze programs, policies and issues and develop and implement problem-solving strategies. The program is generalist in approach and will prepare you to work with minority and disadvantaged groups in urban, rural and remote areas.
