Explore the literature, history, art and architecture, myth and religion, philosophy, science and medicine of ancient Greece and Rome. Choose from a wide range of optional modules to tailor the degree to your interests. If you wish, choose to study Greek or Latin language, from beginners' or advanced level, at any Stage of the degree. Enjoy working with the outstanding Greek, Roman and Etruscan collections at the University-led Great North Museum: Hancock together with study resources on offer in our award-winning library (e.g. the Fletcher Collection and the Shefton collection on Greek Art).
