Classic natural sciences (physics, chemistry, mathematics) are linked with machine engineering and an 8-weeks mandatory work placement in the industry, which allows students to establish contacts with the industry at an early stage of their studies. Students enjoy an excellent infrastructure at both locations. Graduates of this BSc course may enrol on an international postgraduate MSc degree course in Chemistry and Physics of Materials at the University of Salzburg, but they also qualify for the postgraduate courses at the Technical University of Munich.
