This degree program includes an internship (up to 28 weeks long) in the form of a field placement in a real-world workplace.You'll advance from fundamental computer science principles to more specialized courses covering all aspects of information systems security, including: Computer security IS Intrusion detection and prevention Network security Ethical hacking Database security. Sheridan's Information Systems Security degree program includes an internship of up to 28 weeks between Years 3 and 4. You'll acquire workplace skills and professional contacts while gaining real-world information systems security experience. The classroom environment simulates workplace conditions via mobile computing. You'll work on a laptop and enjoy online access to lecture notes, assignments, and other subject material at all times, from any location. Students use mobile computing to collaborate on group projects, conduct web-based research and visit chat rooms.

English Language Requirements: TOEFL: 88 (21L,W,S,R) iBT (Internet-based TOEFL) or 570 Paper-based; IELTS (Academic): 6.5 – Overall Band Score with no Band below 6.0; PTE (Academic): 60 – Overall Minimum Score (57L,W,S,R).
