Sheridan's Honours Bachelor of Applied Information Sciences (Information Systems Security) program provides outstanding preparation for a rewarding career in this rapidly growing field. With a Sheridan Information Systems Security degree, you'll be prepared to join this exciting profession – and to get ahead in it. This degree program includes an internship (up to 28 weeks long) in the form of a field placement in a real-world workplace.You'll advance from fundamental computer science principles to more specialized courses covering all aspects of information systems security, including:

Sheridan's Information Systems Security degree program includes an internship of up to 28 weeks between Years 3 and 4. You'll acquire workplace skills and professional contacts while gaining real-world information systems security experience.
The classroom environment simulates workplace conditions via mobile computing. You'll work on a laptop and enjoy online access to lecture notes, assignments, and other subject material at all times, from any location. Students use mobile computing to collaborate on group projects, conduct web-based research and visit chat rooms.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including these required courses: English, Grade 12 (ENG4U); any Grade 12 science (U or M) or Grade 12 Computer Science (U) or Grade 12 Computer Engineering Technology (U or M); Any Grade 12 mathematics (U)
Three other Grade 12 credits (U or M); Minimum 65% overall average.
English Language Requirements:
TOEFL: 88 (21L,W,S,R) iBT (Internet-based TOEFL) or 570 Paper-based;
IELTS (Academic): 6.5 – Overall Band Score with no Band below 6.0;
