Program overview

On the BA International Media and Communications Studies course, you will study the theory and history of communications in a global context. You will develop a strong sense of the various political, economic, social and cultural factors that shape the way it understand, or misunderstand, each other on an international stage. In addition, you will study a European or Asian language from beginners to A level standard, or continue with a language you have already begun studying (French, German or Spanish). Students also have opportunities to spend part of year two abroad. Study abroad Explore the world, experience different cultures and gain valuable life skills by studying abroad.
