This programme will give you an understanding of marine environmental processes and policies at local, national, European and global scales. Two pathways have been created, one for those interested in Fisheries Science and the other for those interested in Marine Ecology. You’ll graduate with the skills and knowledge to work in a wide range of marine environmental organisations – or continue your studies even further at PhD level.

Normally a Bachelor Honours degree (typically 2.2 or above, or international equivalent in an environmental or biological science subject. If you hold a degree in another subject area, you are atill encourage to apply as Hull is looking for a real interest and passion for marine biology and the environment and the university would be happy to consider your application. Similarly, if you do not hold a degree but have relevant professional experience and training, you are still welcome to apply.
