Common International Curricula (GCE and IB): General Certificate of Education (GCE): Minimum 2 courses at Advanced (A) level and 3 courses at Ordinary (O) level: no grades below a ‘D’ (GCE). International Baccalaureate (IB): An IB diploma with 3 courses at the higher level (HL) and 3 courses at the standard level (SL): no grades below a ‘3’ (IB). English language proficiency. For applicants impacted by IELTS or TOEFL test centre closures due to the COVID-19, the University of Manitoba will temporarily accept the Duolingo English Test as one of the ways to meet the undergraduate English Language Proficiency requirements. Duolingo English Tests will be accepted if the results are received by the document deadlines for the Summer and Fall 2020 intakes for each respective program. The minimum Duolingo English Test score required by the University of Manitoba is 115 (125 for IDDP and Law).
