This program provides graduate students and security and intelligence professionals with an opportunity to explore both theoretical and practical knowledge across the disciplines that compose the field that security and intelligence studies has become. These include: strategic concepts; the integration of science and technology in the security and intelligence realms; the principles, processes, and presentation of products; the importance of cultural understanding in key regions of the world; the evolution, nature, and roles of states and non-state actors; and the forms of international conflict and cooperation that constitute the playing field of the intelligence and policy communities. The elective course offerings provide the student with the opportunity to specialize to a degree in one of the areas of security and intelligence studies. In this way, the program enables the student to structure his or her own elective program within the schedule of courses offered each semester.

- Statement of Objectives - Three Letters of Recommendation - Resume - Graduate applicants who have university-level educational experience outside the United States are required to provide an official course-by-course evaluation in English, including the cumulative grade-point average. The evaluation must be certified by World Education Service (WES), a Foreign Credential Evaluation Services (FCE) approved by Embry-Riddle. - To be admitted into a degree program, international students who will not be graduating from an English educational system within the last two years, or for whom English is not the primary language, must submit official TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge scores. The preferred TOEFL score for admissions is 213 (computer based), 550 (paper based), or 79 (IBT-Internet based). The preferred IELTS score for admission is 6.0. The preferred Cambridge score is 170.
