The mission of the MScPH program is to train outstanding public health professionals by offering a rigorous academic program in methods, research, and practice. Graduates of the program will serve as public health practitioners, research professionals, and educators, and will possess the competencies and professionalism to carry out broad public health functions in local, provincial, national, and international public and private settings.

Minimum TOEFL scores required, when applicable, of 100 on the Internet-based test. Minimum score for IELTS: 6.5. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in a related area: Basic sciences, health sciences, engineering, social sciences (such as sociology, economics, political science), and the health professions. The MScPH program requires substantial quantitative skills. The admissions committee will look for proof of quantitative proficiency, such as good grades in undergraduate-level courses in differential or integral calculus, or in statistics. Applicants who completed calculus at the CEGEP/College level may upload these transcripts as an additional document. The GRE is required of candidates who are health professional graduates from Universities outside Canada or the United States of America. A cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0/4.0, or minimum 3.2/4.0 over the last two years of study: GPA calculations are done by the university. Please do not submit external transcript evaluations.
