The course is mapped to National Occupational Standards for exercise and fitness which assures employers that, as a graduate, have the skills essential for effective engagement with the sport and exercise industry. You’ll prepare for accreditation by leading sports governing bodies from a range of disciplines. If you are a talented athlete, there is also the opportunity to apply for the sports scholarship scheme which will support you to succeed in your chosen sport. You’ll study a range of interesting modules through a blend of methods to give you the confidence and ability to make a difference in tomorrow’s world of sport and exercise science. 95% of students are in work or further study six months after finishing this course - Unistats, 2018.

SQA Higher: BBBB to include English (or a written subject requiring the use of English) and two sciences (Maths counted). English and Maths required at National 5 grade B or above if not held at Higher. GCE A Level Year 1 entry: BCC to include Human Biology, Physics and PE. English and Maths are required at GCSE grade 6 or above if not held at A-level. Irish Leaving Certificate Higher: H2H2H3H3 to include English (or a written subject requiring the use of English) and two sciences (Maths counted). English and Maths are required at grade O2 if not held at Higher. IB Diploma Year 1 entry: 28 points to include Higher Level English (or a written subject requiring the use of English) and two sciences (Maths counted) all at Higher Level grade 5. Standard Level English and Maths required at grade 4 or above if not held at Higher.
