Обзор программы
Global supply chain students learn about each aspect of a supply chain in detail and how to make each aspect work together in the best way possible. A supply chain consists of all the steps that lead to the production of good and services, including supplier and distribution channels. Effective supply chain managers optimize all of these steps so that the right amount and the right type of goods and services are delivered to customers at the right time. Good managers also understand how to coordinate the links of the supply chain to maintain quality and customer satisfaction while keeping costs low.
Students will develop managerial-level decision-making ability through repeated practice problem-solving in realistic supply chain scenarios. They will integrate technology and data-analysis skills with supply chain frameworks and principles. Courses will also focus on developing interpersonal and customer-relationship management skills, as well as global competence and awareness.
Graduates will be prepared for managerial positions in the supply chain field, including purchasing, inventory and supplies, logistics and transportation, and operations.
