Clarkson offers interdisciplinary degrees in humanities, social sciences and liberal studies. You can also minor in these areas, as well as in interdisciplinary thematic areas. These degree programs offer a great deal of flexibility, allowing substantial elective choice. As a student, you work closely with an advisor to select both major and elective courses that meet your educational and career goals. If you are minoring in this area, you also choose courses in consultation with your advisor. Ultimately, you gain an awareness of cultural and social diversity and the ability to assess the ethical and social implications of science, technology and business.

All applicants for admission who are not U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents (green card holders) need to secure a student visa, are required to show proof of financial support as a condition of being issued an official letter of acceptance and I-20 form.
