You will explore core learning areas of the curriculum and learn how to respond to the diverse needs of students. You will also examine mentoring, leadership and research within an educational environment. This may be useful if you go on to work in school or education centre-based administration and management teams, where you will be required to provide expertise relating to teaching. You will have an opportunity to specialise in an area of education, focusing on: Early years and primary education; or Secondary education. If you graduate from the course and become interested in seeking registration as a qualified teacher, you can apply for entry into our initial teacher education courses and may be given credit for units that you’ve completed.

Successful completion of one year of a Diploma of Specialist at a state institution or fully accredited private institution where separate evidence of English competence is required. IELTS 6.5 with no band lower than 6.0
