The purpose of the Instructional Services Unit (ISU) is to provide academic and technological services and resources to the university and community through three service divisions. A practicum site for pre-service teachers through the Teaching/Learning Center, an educational resource through the Learning Resource Center, and are responsible for staffing the computer laboratories in Ramona Wood Hall. The Instructional Services Unit has been recognized by the Clinical Experiences program and by teacher education accrediting agencies as a supporting pillar for curriculum and practicum experiences.

Completed JSU Graduate Application for Admission. Non-refundable $35.00 application processing fee. Official transcripts from all colleges/universities with degrees posted. (Students who have previously attended JSU do not need to request a transcript from the university.) Three Graduate Reference Forms completed by individuals who can provide qualitative assessment of the applicant’s potential for success in graduate coursework. Reference forms will be submitted electronically. Instructions for submission will be sent through email to the applicant upon submission of the online graduate application. If currently an educator, a copy of the candidate’s Professional Educator Certificate. A professional curriculum vita or resume.
