Entry onto the BSc programme requires; current employment as a HCPC registered paramedic and evidence of 120 credits at level 5. Alternatively, paramedics without 120 credits at level 5 can access the BSc on completion of the Diploma in Enhanced Professional Practice. For example, IHCD paramedics can apply for APeL through assessment of their practice portfolio and be awarded credits for their experiential learning by the college of human health science. The remaining credits will be achieved through the modules within the Enhanced Professional Practice Diploma.

This course will give you the opportunity to gain academic credit for your learning; providing flexible and contextualised professional development tailored to suit your career needs. The modules available are designed in line with the four pillars of paramedic practice, allowing the opportunity to develop and evidence learning across these areas.
