Psychology at Huron offers undergraduate courses across a range of subdisciplines in Psychology, from social psychology and cognitive psychology to animal learning and adolescent risk behaviour. Many courses in our program include active research components to develop students’ research and writing skills. By engaging with Huron's Psychology Department, you'll have the opportunity to take part in complex conversations and research that will help you look at the world from a completely different and far more well-informed perspective. Students who wish to enter the Psychology Honors Specialization Module must have completed first-year requirements with no failures and have a minimum average of at least 75% in 3.0 principal courses including the following psychology and mathematics courses with no mark in these principal courses below 60%: Psychology 1100E 1.0 course from: Applied Mathematics 1201A/B, Calculus 1000A/B, Calculus 1301A/B, Calculus 1500A/B, Calculus 1501A/B, the former Calculus 1100A/B, the former Calculus 1201A/B, Mathematics 1600A/B or the former Linear Algebra 1600A/B, Mathematics 0110A/B, Mathematics 1225A/B, Mathematics 1228A/B, Mathematics 1229A/B, Statistical Sciences 1024A/B. If Mathematics 0110A/B is selected then either Statistical Sciences 1024A/B or Mathematics 1228A/B must be taken. Mathematics 1228A/B and Mathematics 1229A/B or Mathematics 1228A/B and Statistical Sciences 1024A/B are the recommended combinations. Students who wish to enter the Psychology Honors Specialization Module after Years 2 and 3 must, in addition, have a minimum cumulative average of 75% in all senior courses taken to date with no mark below 60%.
