You will develop the skills and knowledge to deliver occupational therapy assessments and devise interventions to help your clients enjoy an optimal quality of life. You will also learn the soft skills, attitudes and behaviours to enable you to communicate effectively and develop a therapeutic relationship with the people you help. Your curriculum will reflect the standards required by the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.

UCAS Tariff Points: 120 points required. (Minimum Minimum 120 from three A Levels, or equivalent. At least 40 points must come from Biology, Human Biology, Psychology or Sociology. Key Skills, Functional Skills, BTEC level 2 and the Certificate in Adult Numeracy/Literacy are accepted in place of GCSEs. ACCESS TO HE DIPLOMA: In a relevant subject, Pass overall with a minimum of 120 UCAS tariff points. SCOTTISH AWARDS: Minimum of 5 subjects at Grade B at Higher Level. At least one science subject normally required which can include Psychology or PE. IRISH LEAVING CERTIFICATE: Minimum of 5 subjects at Grade C1 or above at Higher Level of which at least 3 must be at B2. One science subject normally required which can include Psychology or PE. SELECTION CRITERIA: In your personal statement you will be required to demonstrate your interest, knowledge and commitment to the profession, including details of relevant work experience.
