Our wide selection of optional modules which you can choose in your final two years of study, will allow you to shape the degree towards your career goals. The course itself blends theory, empirical evidence and practical application. You will build a strong financial foundation and develop essential transferable skills allowing you to analyse and critically evaluate real-world financial market issues and concepts. Teaching at Swansea is partly informed by research, and our staff have hands-on experience of both theory and practice, meaning you can benefit from their academic expertise and real-world know-how.

A foundation year is available for students who do not achieve the grades necessary for their chosen degree programme.
