In this program students learn about the underpinnings of information systems, including studies in business analysis, IT project management and enterprise information management, requirements analysis, database design and professional issues. They also learn how to approach organisational problems from a broader, interdisciplinary perspective, and address information systems risk management, enterprise architecture, and information systems strategy and governance. Students select a specialisation from business analysis, IT project management or enterprise information management, and may broaden their study by undertaking elective units. Students complete a research project, enabling them to build an area of expertise.

- A recognised bachelor degree in any discipline or A Graduate Certificate of Business Information Systems** - Satisfactory completion of one of the following: Swinburne’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with overall 70%, all skills 65% minimum IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0 TOEFL iBT (internet-based) minimum score of 79 with a reading band no less than 18 and writing band no less than 20 Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 58 (no communicative skills less than 50) any other equivalent assessment of English language proficiency.
