Preliminary training This programme is open for students with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science, Social and Behavioural Sciences (including Political Science), Econometrics and /or (Applied) Mathematics. After applying, the Admissions Committee will determine your eligibility and competencies based on the documentation you provide. Our Admissions Office will determine whether a non-Dutch academic degree is equivalent to a 3-year Bachelor’s degree at a Dutch research university. All international Bachelor’s degrees are evaluated based on standards set by the NUFFIC. If your degree is assessed as less than equivalent to a 3-year Dutch research University degree, or as a bachelor from a university of applied sciences, you are most likely not eligible for admission. Average Grade You need a minimum weighted average grade of 7.5 in the Dutch system to be eligible or an international equivalent, such as a GPA of 3.4 out of 4, or A- in the US system. Students with an average grade between 7.0 and 7.5 in the Dutch system (GPA: between 3.0 and 3.4; US: between B+ and A-) will be considered for admission. The programme’s Admissions Committee will determine whether these candidates compensate for this lower average with other capacities they possess.
