Our award-winning faculty have magnetic personalities and the campus itself radiates a positive energy, full of students who are on the same wavelength. Graduates have lots of potential and go on to work in universities, government institutions, industry, schools, financial organizations and more. We typically have around 20-25 graduate students, with one-third of them MSc and the rest PhD students. Our faculty also have collaborations within industries, including: NavCanada, SIL, Saskatoon, NovAtel, Green Imaging Technologies, Saudi Aramco, ConocoPhillips, Septentrio Navigation, Trimble Navigation, Raytheon, Rockwell-Collins, Pfizer, Suncor, Eni, Italy, COMDEV, Light Machinery, and KEO Scientific.

Prior to applying, all applicants must first contact faculty to secure research supervision. Applicants must hold a physics degree in good standing from a recognized university with a minimum GPA of 70% or B. Applicants must submit a completed application and a one-page statement describing their research interests. International Applicants whose first language is not English must submit language scores that meet or exceed: International English language testing system (IELTS) = band 7 Paper-based TOEFL = 550 Computer-based TOEFL = 237 (writing 4.0) Internet-based TOEFL = 92 (writing 25) TWE = 4.0 MELAB = 85 CanTest = 4.75 Non-North American PhD applicants will be required to submit their GRE Physics score.
