Program overview
Graduates of the Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation should be able to:
Demonstrate collaborative and holistic management of a range of complex aged and neurological disorders that hone clinical reasoning, goal setting and evidence based applications from the discipline perspective
Demonstrate advanced knowledge, skills and evidence based applications by each discipline to optimise participation of people with aged or neurological disorders in home, work and leisure pursuits, along with the ability to critically appraise and implement programs that accommodate cultural, language, behavioural, cognitive and memory problems frequently associated with older adults or those with ABI
Demonstrate advanced knowledge, skills and applications through a discipline specific practicum (physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology) or health related elective for other health professions
Apply a range of research methodologies and aligned statistics to plan a work-place research project and submit an ethical application for approval.
