Program overview

As your freshman year draws to a close, you’ll take an important professional step and declare a concentration in one of seven principal fields of business. D’Amore-McKim students who concentrate in Accounting will take courses in financial reporting, managerial accounting, and intermediate accounting, with additional elective courses available for more specialized studies in strategic cost analysis, auditing and other assurance services, income tax planning, and accounting information systems.

If you’re applying from a high school outside of the United States: please read the International Applicants page English Proficiency: All students, regardless of citizenship must demonstrate English language proficiency when applying to Northeastern. You have lived, and studied, at a high school for 4 consecutive academic years, in the United States or another majority native English speaking country.
