The program enables students to demonstrate relevant knowledge and understanding of organisations, the external environment in which they operate and how they are managed; to develop and maintain an awareness and understanding of business in a regional, national and international context; to develop students with a range of subject specific and transferable skills which will prepare them for a career within a wide range of commercial and not-for-profit organisations and business start-up;to develop independent life-long learners;to deliver a programme that is attractive to employers at regional, national and international levels.

Applicants must be of age 17 and above and possess one of the following entrance requirements: Year 2 Entry: MDIS Diploma in Management Studies Higher National Certificate in a business-related discipline Non-business related Diploma from local/overseas polytechnic with entry requirement of 10 yrs of formal education Business related PEIs diploma (with entry requirement of 12 years of formal education) Note: All applications are subject to University approval. Year 3 Entry: Higher National Diploma in business-related discipline MDIS Advanced Diploma in Management Studies Business related Diploma from local polytechnics PEI's business-related diploma and advanced diploma(equivalent to 1st & 2nd year external degree programme) with entry requirement of 12 years formal education Note: All applications are subject to University approval.
