The course will provide you with a sound basis in educational research, enabling you to demonstrate that you can: - evaluate educational research with an understanding of a range of research methodologies, - define an issue in education and plan an investigable research project, - design and undertake a significant research project in Education, and - write up the results of the research project and demonstrate the capacity to adhere to the conventions of research.

Admission to the course requires successful completion of a four year bachelor's degree in an education discipline or a relevant area with an average mark of 65% or above.
