The first and second years are designed to ensure that you develop a sound foundation in all aspects of physics. You will explore a broad and exciting range of topics, such as: quantum mechanics astrophysics solid state physics In your final year, you are given the opportunity to specialise in astrophysics along with modules such as relativity and cosmology, stellar structure and evolution and interstellar medium. You will get hands-on experience with specialist equipment and work in our high-spec facilities. This helps you develop practical skills for a wide range of physical science careers.

For entry to most undergraduate courses, you must have completed your Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC or IB), qualifications that are of a suitable academic level : A/AS levels (including International A levels),Scottish Qualifications,International Baccalaureate,Irish Leaving,Certificate,Access Qualifications,BTEC qualifications,Cambridge Pre-U and provide certificates of your SC results, HSC results and leaving certificate.
