Texas Woman’s University (TWU) is the nation’s largest university primarily for women. Texas Woman’s offers degree programs in the liberal arts, nursing, health sciences, the sciences, business and education. Its campuses in Denton, Dallas and Houston are joined by an e-learning campus offering innovative online degree programs in business, education and general studies.

Entry requirements

You are considered a first-year student if you:


Completed the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma in your home country

Have not earned any post-secondary credit or earned less than 12 transferable credit hours from a regionally accredited university or college

Earned at least a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. GPA for non-U.S. coursework is determined upon completion of the credential evaluation.

English proficiency proof is necessary.
