The curriculum is optimally designed, which focuses on issues of the contemporary society and covers a wide range of topics in different areas so that our students can become lifelong learners. With the help of language labs, CAT and other IT-based facilities for the learning activities, our students will become acquainted with new technologies in the field and become efficient users. Students graduating from our BA programme will enjoy a wide range of opportunities for employment and for career development. The BA programme is taught by a team of faculty members form China's Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan, all of whom have had many years of professional experience in teaching Translation and Interpreting courses and their work is known internationally. CUHK (SZ) has signed MOU for coopertion with a number of outstanding universities overseas to provide more learning opportunities for our students, who will have the chance to join university level student exchange programmes in future.

We welcome applicants with a wide range of qualifications. You just need to take any of the following: • International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) • General Certificate of Education (GCE / A-Level) • Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) / American College Test (ACT) • Local national higher education entrance examination • Completed at least one year of undergraduate study at a qualified university • Completed at least one year of study leading to the qualification of associate degree / higher diploma or its equivalent. Applicants should have attained an acceptable level of proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
