Choose to specialise in one of the following: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering or Urban Water Engineering.Undertake supervised projects relevant to your engineering field. You'll learn from UQ and guest academics, industry representatives, and business leaders about how to implement innovative design solutions in the real world. Benefit from a program that includes a balance of business courses. You'll develop your ability to understand, manage and deliver complex professional projects within your chosen engineering discipline.

Requirements
Degree equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree in Engineering (in the relevant field of study for which they wish to enrol) with a GPA of at least 5.0 on a 7 point scale. IELTS overall 6.5; reading 6; writing 6; speaking 6; listening 6.

Graduates of the Master of Engineering are equipped with the specialist knowledge, technical skills and business acumen needed for leadership roles within their chosen engineering discipline.
The program is a pathway to becoming an accredited engineer and opens doors to an array of industries, from consulting firms to forensic investigation companies, or working in areas such as chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, mining and software.
Because the program has a strong emphasis on research and research skills, other students choose to work in research or advisory positions, or choose to enrol in a Master of Philosophy or PhD program.
