From financial markets to the latest management practices and the rapidly expanding world of online commerce, a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) at UC gives you the knowledge and skills to succeed in a global business environment. UC and its business partners provide many opportunities for you to gain practical business experience and make important contacts. The Bachelor of Commerce is a highly flexible degree that allows a wide range of choices from major and minor subjects, as well as courses from subjects within other degrees.
This program can be done
International Baccalaureate Diploma (or equivalent): Language A: literature (SL or HL); Language A: language and literature (SL or HL), or Language B: (HL). English language requirements: IELTS: Academic with an average score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in reading, writing, listening and speaking; TOEFL iBT: Total minimum score of 80, with at least 19 in reading, writing and listening. ; TOEFL PBT: With a minimum score of 550 and TWE with a minimum score of 4.5; Pearson Test of English (Academic): PTE with an overall score of 50 and no PTE communicative skills score below 42
As a Commerce graduate, you could work in numerous and varied roles from being an accountant, economist, and financial analyst, through to being an operations manager, marketer, and information systems specialist. You could become a manager, consultant, or your own boss. The Bachelor of Commerce with Accounting, and Taxation and Accounting majors are pathways to external qualifications with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, CPA (Australia), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and other professional accounting bodies internationally.
