Career opportunities
The B.Sc. (Hons.) in Applied Food and Nutritional Sciences is a stand-alone degree offering opportunities in food related careers. This degree programme provides graduates with a tertiary education exit point into manufacture, retail industries and regulatory affairs. Other opportunities in health orientated careers (regulated professions) exist where the course will act as a feeder degree to professional training at postgraduate level (Postgraduate Diploma) needed to become fully-fledged health professionals in nationally regulated professions such as those of nutrition and dietetics.
