Program overview
This course will also be useful to intrapreneurs working within their own organisations, and to professionals who provide services to entrepreneurs on a day-to-day basis.
The course follows a highly pragmatic, hands-on approach, culminating in two business and operational planning exercises which allow participants to build their own plans that can be taken to the market for financing.
The course will be delivered as an intensive training program, with most of the face-to-face tuition delivered over four intensive weeks distributed equally throughout the first two semesters. Thus, even persons in employment would be able to follow the course.
Another innovative feature of the course is that students may follow the programme over a period of five years and still be eligible for the award of the degree, provided they are successful in all components of the programme.

Requirements
Exams:
The Course shall be open to applicants in possession of a Bachelor degree from this University with at least Second Class (Honours) or Category II in the areas of Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Media, Communications, and the Humanities, or in any other area which the Board deems as appropriate.
Applicants in possession of a Bachelor degree from this University with Third Class Honours or Category III in the disciplines highlighted in the above paragraph may apply if they are also in possession of other qualifications or at least five years of relevant work experience, obtained following the first cycle degree. The admission of applicants under this paragraph may be made conditional on the results of an assessment as the Board may deem appropriate.
Applicants who are not in possession of the qualifications indicated above may also be considered if they submit a letter of motivation and a detailed curriculum vitae showing their experience and achievements to the satisfaction of the Admissions Board. Such applicants may be admitted by the Admissions Board under those conditions it may impose, which may include that the applicants pass in supplementary study-units to which not more than 12 ECTS credits are assigned.
Eligible applicants may register as visiting students for individual study-units and obtain credit for them. Should they be accepted to join the Course within five years from following the first study-unit, the Board may allow the transfer of these credits to the student’s academic record for the Course.
Career opportunities
This course primarily teaches Science, Technology, Engineering and Media graduates how to become entrepreneurs and launch their own, successful business ventures, and convince financiers to finance their ventures.
The course will also teach intrapreneurs how to launch successful business initiatives within their own organisations and convince top management to fund their proposals and initiatives.
Finally, the course will allow professionals who work with entrepreneurs to gain an excellent insight into the way entrepreneurs think, and allow them to provide better services to entrepreneurs.
