The award of honours is an avenue by which the best students can be recognised. By its nature, an honours degree carries more weight or prestige than the pass degree. It is highly regarded by employers and other universities.

To qualify to enrol in the Design Computing (Honours) candidates should have qualified for the award of the pass degree, or a similar degree from another university that is acceptable to the University, and be a graduate of no more than four years standing. Candidates should have a weighted average mark of at least 70 for the pass degree.
