These types of students are most often served within the general education classroom setting. Graduates of this program will receive a Residency Teacher Certificate with endorsements in Elementary Education as well as Special Education. An Elementary Endorsement allows you to teach multi-subjects from kindergarten through eighth grade. A Special Education Endorsement allows you to teach children with disabilities from preschool through 12th grade.
