Program overview
Learn te reo Māori vocabulary, grammatical structures, and technical skills at an advanced level;
Use advanced language and expressions to show a broad understanding of your connections to the land and the environment, prominent places, people, histories and stories;
Understand local proverbs and colloquial sayings;
Use te reo creatively with detail in familiar and some unfamiliar contexts;
Demonstrate observance of tikanga to lead tasks and guide people as an expression of mana ao tūroa.

New Zealand Certificate in Te Reo (Rumaki, Reo Rua) (Level 4) or equivalent qualification; or evidence of Level 4 Reo skills
