Program overview

You’ll learn the basics of human health and disease and how institutions traditionally deliver care. The program culminates in an internship or research project, so you gain valuable experience and professional contacts during your senior year. Depending on your interests, you can specialize your Health Studies degree in biotechnology, environmental health, health policy or health psychology—or create a new concentration with your faculty adviser. Every Health Studies major must complement their program with foundational business studies, leading either toward a minor or a second major in Business Studies. This ensures you leave Bentley with broad business exposure, in addition to expertise in natural sciences.
