Media and Communication BA (Hons) brings together world-leading researchers in Media, Television and Cultural Studies, with experienced practitioners in the field of public relations and new media. - BTEC National Diploma/ Extended Diploma at DMM
Plus, five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English or equivalent.
Alternative qualifications include:
- Pass in the QAA-accredited Access to HE with English GCSE required as a separate qualificatio

Career opportunities
Media and Communication recent graduates have gone on to work for Cosmopolitan, BBC, CBeebies, MentornMedia (Question Time), Hewlett Packard and News International. In addition, graduates have pursued careers in both the public and private sector and have gone on to work in advertising, SEO, sales, TV production, journalism, independent media, film, teaching and public relations agencies. These are all professions where knowledge of the media and good, critical communication skills are valued. Some graduates choose to continue their education by researching the media and related subjects at postgraduate Masters Degree and Doctoral levels of study.
