Overview
Founded in 1900, later granted a civil university charter in 1967, the Dominican University College is modeled on the houses of studies of the Order of Preachers and was originally the centre of graduate studies for Canadian Dominicans. Enrollment is not restricted to Roman Catholics, and is open to any individual interested in philosophy or theology.
The faculty of the Department of Philosophy at the Dominican University College (D.U.C) have diverse research and wide-ranging research interests in the history of philosophy, metaphysics and modern philosophy.
