Program overview

The programme consist of 6 x 3-day blocks of face-to-face classroom based study are scheduled throughout the year. Practical work experience in mental health and addiction organizations forms an integral part of this qualification. Subject areas: Building rapport and relationships; Health, Community and Sustainability; Recovery (Mental Health & Addiction) Issues; Professional Practice, Workplace Supervision, Ethics and Leadership; Integrating Māori Perspectives and Approaches

Requirements

NCEA Level 3, or provide evidence of achievement at an equivalent level or any approved qualification at Level 4 or above on the NZQF; Or attend an information session with a member of the academic staff and successful completion of the alternative academic entry test; Proof of English proficiency (IELTS or equivalent)
