Overview
CM offers foundation as well as pathways to an undergraduate degree at the University of Manitoba. The UTP Stage II programs are the equivalent to the first year of the University's Bachelor's Degree. Upon successful completion of UTP Stage II, students transfer into the second year of their degree at the University of Manitoba.
The U of M is among Canada’s top research institutions, combining in-class knowledge with practical applications and fieldwork with professionals in dozens of fields, called the U15. Along with colleagues from universities such as UBC, McGill and the University of Toronto, the U15 is a strong voice for promoting research incentives within the university sectors.
Entry requirements
- Entry into UTP Stage II generally requires the successful completion of Year 12 of secondary school or its equivalent with overall and individual subject requirements depending on program. Specific minimum academic requirements are listed below*. Admissions assessments are based on an applicant’s complete academic record.
- Entry into UTP Stage I generally requires the successful completion of Year 11 or its equivalent with overall and individual subject requirements depending on program.
- Original 500 word essay or record a 60-90 second video on reasons to study at ICM and the University of Manitoba
